Serving Humanity

ABOUT

Feeling alone is a thought plaguing the human mind at least once in a lifetime…. however, in absolute reality- we are never alone.

Just like the circle of life, we are all connected in love, grief, joy, pain, struggle, hustle, and our hope for a better tomorrow. Nonetheless, we often still feel alone because we believe our problems are singular, pertaining to only us. We live in a fractured reality, assuming and believing others do not go through the same seasons as we do.

E.O

PitfallsandLifelines was birthed in September, 2015 from a mind plagued with an overwhelming feeling of loneliness in the midst of trails. PitfallsandLifelines experienced a rebirth in October, 2019 with a clearer direction and objective. Our goal at this community is to ensure the next human going through what you and I have been through are reminded they aren’t alone. We do this by sharing our stories, discussing life topics and being a source of light when they need one.

We are out here to touch lives positively, If you have a story you believe can help or encourage someone then send us your story at editor@pitfallsandlifelines.com

Before you share any story of your life experiences, please checklist the following; Have you prayed on it? Are you convinced and at peace to share?

These stories are experiences, to some of us they are more than just that, they are intimate and private parts of our lives which we have to feel comfortable to let others see/read about. I’d like to share with you some of the reasons I started sharing and hopefully it can help you see reasons you should:

  1. Less about self, more about helping others: So I realized the more I was less concerned about the challenges I faced in life, the smaller they became. I found my peace in helping others through difficult times while using my experiences as examples.
  2. Healing and Letting go: It provided me with healing, sometimes we never know how much pain we are holding in until we talk to someone.. Sharing helped to come to peace with some life events that tore me apart and finally gave me healing on those issues.
  3. Purpose driven life: It provided me with a greater purpose, a reason to wake up- knowing I have a duty to touch a life every day. Life sometimes becomes so regular that you ask yourself, “What more is there to life”- well I found my greater purpose in my desire to help others.

There are many aspects in life to discuss, here @ PitfallsandLifelines we focus on:
