A New Dawn

I’m writing to you….

You who is struggling, feeling abandoned, left out, forgotten, frustrated… you who is overwhelmed and considering giving up…

I was you…. not too long ago.

I know what it feels like to be hopeless... 
Defeat upon defeat
Hanging by a thread, on the edge of a cliff
Expecting nothing but the worst.

I know what it feels like to feel stuck, 
to not see a way out of the maze, 
like you’re moving in circles...  
I know what it feels like to be tired 
of being weak and sick... 
To be tired of failing and struggling...
I know what it feels like to want out.

And in the midst of it all
A New Dawn is coming.
That is a promise, His Promise to you

You may not believe it, 
because it doesn't  feel like it right now
You may be unable to see a way out
of your struggles... 
because you have tried several times, 
in different ways and it all came to nothing.

Yet, A New Dawn is coming, 
it will become easier, 
you will become healthier 
and failure will end. 
Your joy will be full.

And though our problems differ 
God is the same everywhere. 
He will eventually answer 
And you will testify of Rebirth
The birth of A New Dawn in your lifetime.

The dark days will cease 
and you will feel the sun on your skin, 
you will open the windows of your heart 
to let light shine through you... 
you will glow from within. 
Your rain of blessings will flow 
and like a tree planted by the river 
you will grow.
Many parts of you will blossom into full form  
You will discover gems.. 
new beauties within you, 
things you never knew you had. 
You will come to love yourself.  
You will ooze of gratitude.  
Your heart will be full,
You will smile and laugh... 
Many will see the light in your eyes... 
the glimmer of hope... the sparkle of love
They will feel the energy of change.  
They will embrace your aura of positivity... 
You will no longer hide,  
You will let yourself be seen..  
be heard and be loved. 
You will wake up every morning thinking  
“it is a dream” 
You will pinch yourself,  
you will second guess it.
But like a rainbow, he will reassure you...  
that indeed the storm is over 
and “it is your time” 
You will bask in His glory,  
You will see His hand in everything
and you will remember His name. 
Yahweh! 

And when you tell your story 
The world will know for a fact that the
 -I am that I am- has honored His word
and kept His promise to you.

“I will never leave you nor forsake you”

hebrews 13:5

It may not seem like it but He really hasn’t forgotten you, you are not abandoned… You may feel alone but you’re not alone.

“I am with you always, to the end of age”

-Matthew 28:20

In the midst of the storm it is hard to remember His promise. So I have written this as a reminder for you… It is my greatest desire that you find strength to hold onto that promise because in His time, He makes all things beautiful….
